As the oldest city in Georgia, Savannah has long been known
for shipping cotton. As early as 1733, settlements were sprouting
up along the Savannah River and increasing port traffic. During
the Civil War, General William Sherman spared Savannah from
his fiery march to the sea because of its beauty.
This beauty remains today with exquisite colonial architecture, magnificent squares and southern charm. On River Street you'll find waterfront restaurants, cafes, shops and boutiques. Come experience the legends and ghosts stories that make up so much of Savannah's mysterious past.
Ghost Hunters Halloween Special fetures the Sorrel Weed House.
